Elevator Buckets for Ag processing
Bucket elevators are suitable for conveying many bulk materials like grain, produce, fertilizer, livestock and poultry feed ingredients, aggregates, and other free flowing bulk materials. This process is energy-efficient and gently handles the products to avoid damage and bruising. When the buckets wear down over time, your operations aren’t as efficient and can even result in catastrophic machine failure.
Custom Replacement Buckets
Buckets break and need to be replaced. If your particular bucket is no longer available through an existing manufacturer, we can reverse engineer and fabricate them for you. Using our Hex arm 3D scanning technology, we can get within 100mm accuracy and recreate the buckets you need. The more buckets you order, the lower the cost. In volume orders, it is often less expensive to have buckets created by us than to order from a specific manufacturer. With rapid turnaround times, we can fulfill your needs quickly and efficiently.
The most commonly used plastics in fabricating elevator buckets are High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) polyethylene. The plastics have a high strength-to-density ratio that allows them to resist cracking and withstand high friction. Both materials are commonly used in the production of plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant piping, geomembranes and plastic lumber, making them food safe and FDA approved.
